Welcome to the Coniferous blog. This is where we'll share notes from the workshop: how we approach building software, the trade-offs we weigh, and the small decisions that add up to calm, durable products.

Why a blog

We spend a lot of time helping small teams simplify complex systems. A lot of what we learn doesn't fit neatly into a project deliverable — it's the reasoning behind the work. This is a place to write some of that down.

What to expect

• Engineering notes — patterns, refactors, and the occasional war story.
• Product thinking — how we decide what to build, and what to leave out.
• Studio updates — what we're working on and what we're learning.
